It's Official!!!
Hello all, sorry this post is so late in the day. We had a very busy day. Court went fine. It started late and lasted long but it's over and everything is official. Cal is ours and we are so excited about it.
We took the entire crew out to "celebrate" tonight. We went to the Irish Pub in town called Mad Murphy's. We had a really great time. Full of Americans, great food, milkshakes, we almost forgot where we were.
All three of our children are now asleep and we are mentally exhausted. There will be time later for an in depth recap of the hearing but now we must rest.
We go back to the baby house in Almaty tomorrow to deliver the gifts we bought for them. Then tomorrow evening is the circus.
We are trying to get our basic cable expanded in the apt. to include some English speaking news channels at the least. They are going to work on this on Monday.
Thank you for all the e-mails of support. We really appreciate them.
We will sleep good tonight knowing that Cal is our son and that we are now a forever family.
Life is good!!!

Thank God for this great blessing for you, for Cal, for Mac and Alina and your greater family. My heart "blinked" when I clicked on your blog and nothing had changed since the previous one, so I called Valerie and she was able to give me the good news. Shortly after that Kaye sent an email saying she too had talked with you.
I'm amazed at how many "American" style restaurants (and Americans) are nearby there. That's got to be a big boost for you.
What's the circus you spoke of?
