Another Day!

Nothing too exciting to post. Just thought I’d share some more pictures of our neighborhood. The first is a beautiful park that we pass on our walk to the American Grill. The fountains are so pretty when the sun hits them. I couldn’t resist capturing a shot of my three Kazak beauties!

The next pictures are of the front and back of our apartment building. We are on the 3rd floor. Getting up those stairs multiple times a day with a baby, stroller and all the gear is quiet a challenge.

We had a delicious breakfast/brunch at the American Grill today. We had eggs, toast, pancakes, OJ, ham, cheese, yogurt, honey, etc. We will be taking advantage of that again soon.

After returning from eating the kids and I took a long nap. Ken and Liza took a long walk to the Ramstore to get some supplies.

I think tomorrow we might go on a gondola ride up the mountain. We’ve been told there is a nice playground at the top. We want to do this before Liza leaves and before the weather gets cold.

Found out there is another WPA family coming through Almaty this coming Friday. They’ve been in the city of Uralsk adopting a little boy that is 2 weeks older than Cal. We’ll hopefully meet up with them next weekend.

We just continue to count down the days. We’ve got several things to accomplish this week before court next Monday and Liza’s departure in the wee hours of next Tuesday.

Hope everyone is well.

Alison
