Adoption Update - 5/18/06

I spoke with our adoption coordinator yesterday. Our dossier has returned from Kaz. translated. Now it is being prepared to be sent to the Kaz. embassy in NYC. I'm not exactly sure what they do with it there but this is just another step in the process. From NY it will go back to Kaz. to the Ministry of Education. This is the final step. Once we have a referral the Ministry of Education will issue our "Letter of Invitation" which you HAVE to have in order to get a visa and enter the country.

We will be notified when our dossier goes to NY and again when it goes back to Kaz. We are still hoping that we are on track for a referral in the next month or two.
