4/9/2006 - Beginning Post
Ken, Alina, Mac and I are anxiously awaiting the addition of a new member to our family. Many of you have asked for updates on our progress. I have decided to create this blog to send out so that you may check in with us whenever you want.
We are officially paper ready and are now in the waiting period. We don't know exactly how long it will take for us to receive a referral but remain hopeful that it could be in the next few months. We still don't know if our referral will be a boy or girl. We also don't know what region we will be visiting.
We are using the same agency that we used to bring home Alina and Mac back in 2000. Check them out World Partners Adoption
We will look forward to your comments and will update with ANY news we get from our agency.

Alison, thank you for setting up the blog to keep all of us up to date on developments.
This is an exciting time for your dad and me as we await news on the next addition to our family. We pray that you and Ken will be blessed with another healthy baby who will bring his or her own unique personality, gifts, and blessings to add to the wealth of experiences we have all gained through Mac's and Alina's presence in our lives.

Oh, boy (or gurr) another little Poston to love! We are looking forward to the new addition and will help in any way we can this summer with Mac and Alina (aka big brother and big sister!)

You will certainly have "expert" help in Alina! She (and Mac) are very excited about this baby - and filled me in this past Friday and Saturday. Complete with what each thinks the sex of the baby should be. My sugestion - buy Alina a book on baby care...She will read it cover to cover!
